Why?
A5 Development was created to bridge the gap from academia to industry giving students with spark an opportunity to grow and prove their worth to potential employers. This gives them the best possible transition from the academic world to their professional careers. Any industry stands to benefit from hiring the A5 Development team members as they possess more than academic technical knowledge, but the personal and behavioral traits as well as the styles of thinking that make them valuable members of any team as well as the leaders of tomorrow.

What?
A5 programs start by forming a racing team out of a select group of the brightest and most driven students. The students come from academic backgrounds ranging from engineering to fine art, music, business management, and journalism. The racing team provides a crucial “vehicle” for the student’s experiences, as few professional worlds are as demanding and competitive as racing. Rather than grades, the students are judged by their successes as a team and work ethics as individuals.

Who?
A5 is run by volunteer professional mentors. Volunteers, speakers, and leaders range from global CEOs to sports professionals, fighter pilots, racing engineers, entrepreneurs, and even Chief of Staff to Mario Andretti. The program was founded and directed by Steven Tarrant an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and adventurist that has been known for his automotive creations and accolades.

Vision
It is the endeavor of A5 Development to grow upon its successes in the automotive racing world. This educational model will be an accredited internship with a job placement focus. It is the vision to have automotive racing, aviation sub-teams under the greater A5 brand, involving younger students, and potentially opening an interactive learning center dedicated to these branches of adventure and team education. As a non-profit as we actively seek out positive collaborations between manufacturers, racing teams, business and educational institutions. These collaborations serve to give the brightest young minds their shot to show the world what they are capable of and begin a career that warrants achievement at their full potential. It is our belief that industries and nations stand strongest when they best utilize and inspire their youth.
